Women’s Bouldering Workshop
Feb 14 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

This workshop is designed specifically for beginner-intermediate female climbers; perfect for those in the V1-V3 bouldering range.

The goal of this clinic is to help you become more conscious, practiced, and confident on the wall. We will explore the mental and physical skills necessary to attain comfort in your climbing practice, and expand your technical skill set.

Taught by:  Iyma

Iyma is a 20-year-old climber from Toronto studying political science and anthropology at McGill University. She started climbing when she was five years old, and climbed competitively from  ages 11 through 19.  She participated on the Canadian National Open and Youth Climbing Teams for five years.  She is passionate about sharing her love of climbing and helping others to achieve their climbing goals!

Spring Break Camp Begins

This March break, Shakti is excited to offer a one-week day camps for kids!

Monday through Friday, we’ll keep your kids busy and having fun with a mix of climbing and gymnastics training.

Participants will learn proper techniques in both disciplines with the help of our experienced trainers, and the encouragement of their peers.

This program is for kids ages 7-13. Minimum 6 participants, maximum 12.

 

Day Breakdown:

  • 10:00 to 12:00 Climbing
  • 12:00 to 1:00 Break for Lunch
  • 1:00 to 3:00 Gymnastics

Program Dates:

  • February 29 – March 4

 

One Week Session: $225 plus tax

Sessions include shoe rental, if required.
Kids should pack their own lunches, and are welcome to bring books and/or games to play with during the break.
Non-refundable $50 deposit required upon registration.
Places are transferable, but non-refundable.
